The Earthquake
"And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount
of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst there of
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and
half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the
south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the
mountains shall reach unto Azal; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the
earth-quake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall
come, and all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the
light shall not be clear, nordark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to
the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it
shall be light."
Zechariah 14:4-7
This earthquake and the one experienced by Elijah in the Old Testament; the
earthquake in the twenty-seventh year of Uzziah king of Judah; and the
earthquake experienced by the Apostle Peter when he was delivered from prison;
and the earthquake at the time of the crucifixion, and the one the resurrection
morning, of the Lord of Glory, the only begotten Son of the Father, the Lord
Jesus Christ, are the earthquakes recorded in the Bible.
The earthquake at the time of the crucifixion reads on this wise: "Jesus, when he
had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of
the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake,
and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints
which slept arose, And came out the graves after his resurrection, and went into
the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that
were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earth-quake, and those things that were
done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God."
Matthew 27:50-54
The earth convulsed at the death of the Lord Jesus Christ and darkness was over
all the land from the sixth to the ninth hours, as He hung on the cross, bearing
your sins and mine, and those of the whole world.
"And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to
him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye
not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone
upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately,
saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy
coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I
am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of
wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the
end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there
shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are
the beginning of sorrows."
Matthew 24:1-8
The "beginning of sorrows" is upon this living generation now, with Jerusalem no
longer trodden down of the Gentiles since the June War of 1967 in Israel, and the
Church still on the earth; enraptured. Our day is the only day of its kind in
prophetic history, and is filled with historic prophetic significance.
There is now, with the moral decline in the world similar to the time of Abraham
and Sodom and Gomorrah, when he, to find a virgin bride for his son Isaac, had to
send back to his people: and, Noah the preacher of righteousness, in the days of
the flood found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:8) because of his purity,
and that of his wife and daughters-in-law, and sons, when the earth was peopled
with giants: and, Esther, in the days of the Persian dispersion, found favor with
king Ahasuerus because of her beauty and purity in that wicked and violent day:
and, Mary, the mother of James and Joses, in her virginal purity brought into the
world the Saviour and Redeemer. "But when the fullness of the time was come,
God sent forth his Son (to earth), made of a woman, made under the law."
Galatians 4:4
Once again, Almighty God is seeking, on the earth, purity and virgins to serve
Him, but this generation, like the generations of the flood, and Sodom and
Gomorrah, has yielded up its purity and virginity to the lusts of the flesh,
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
Nowhere is there purity: the earth is corrupted and full of violence as before the
flood. Therefore, it will quake in California, northeastern Pennsylvania, Iran,
Turkey, Italy, and two in Japan.
The virgins have yielded up their virginity outside of wedlock among the
rebellious wayfarers, and with the sorcerers of drugs. There is the mental
witchcraft of horoscopes, and, the impurity of promiscuity and disease among
the women and young maidens. As they moved in yielding up their virginity
outside of marriage, so will the earth's crust move, as it yields up its safety. The
hymen is torn, the hips move, the mouth is open, the breasts are pressed, the legs
are open and locked, and this earth will quake as an impure women in sin. She
will disclose her slain.
Estella, 1996
P.S. This lesson was given for my Bible class in February of 1972. Since then
there have been earthquakes in all these places, but not the big ones which are to
come. A whole generation has grown up since the June War of 1967. The
"Rapture" is "close" and "near" and "very soon".
We can expect these big
earthquakes any day now, for all this judgment occurs on one generation.
A generation is great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and children. A child
born in 1967 would now be 29 years old and could have children of its own. The
generation has developed.
