The high drama of end-time prophecy is that everything is overruled, overturned, and brought to naught, that is not the work of God, but of the flesh, and the world, and Satan.

It is written, that the power of the flesh and the world and Satan, will be overruled, overturned, and brought to naught, and that the Will of God, and His purpose, will be accomplished by it.

The power of God will direct the circumstances that this purpose will be accomplished.

The high drama of this antagonist and protagonist is the fight for good to win over evil.

For the prize, for nation’s and individuals, is to be accepted into the new heaven and the new earth wherein righteousness shall dwell.

The old must pass away -- that is, this evil earth -- for the new to be created.

God is not giving humanity, His creation, and the earth, to Satan, but rather is taking it from him. Satan acquired his power over humanity, creation and the earth, by the sin of Adam.

But God has sent a second Adam to redeem His creation, humanity, and the earth. That second Adam is His only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The battle lines are drawn.

The Savior has been born, and caught up in heaven, and shall return to the earth, and He is only tarrying in heaven, now, awaiting the moment of His return to the earth for His believers.

This moment is known to the Father only.

However, there are signs of its approach on the earth, and in the sky, and sun, and moon, and with distress of nations and perplexity among them on the earth; men’s hearts failing them for fear, for looking after those things which are coming to pass on the earth.

Not since the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem, has Jerusalem had full sovereignty over its city until 1967, when the Old City was recaptured in the June war of 1967. The United Nations had given Israel her land in 1948. As I write, that was and forty-one years ago. And, God has said that the end-time drama will occur on one generation -- this present generation of great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and children.

Part of the terrible part, of this high drama, is that darkness is on the mind of humanity and the Truth of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ is almost lost, and these end-time events come in rapid succession, and some of the prophecies will be known only after their fulfillment so great is the darkness.

There is so much evil now, that love toward God and family is waxing cold. Betrayals in families have started.

While the believers are still on the earth, and Jerusalem is no longer trodden down of the Gentiles, this brief interval of time, the only one ever of its kind, this interval is known as the “beginning of sorrows.” Every person, every family, every nation has a sorrow.

When the believers are snatched away in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye -- the moment known only to the Father -- and Israel as a nation and the other nations are left, then Israel faces her tribulation, her sorrows, Jacob’s sorrow, as prophesied as the seventieth week of Daniel.

During this week of seven years, she will accept the Antichrist as her savior. The blood will flow to the horses’ bridles. The horses could hold their heads high and about swim in the blood for two hundred miles. This is the battle of Armageddon.

The Lord Jesus Christ returns, with the armies of heaven, and His saints, and ends the battle, binds satan for a thousand years and casts him into hell. The Antichrist and False Prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire, which is the second death for the unbelievers. The earth will burn over from the grass to the ionosphere, a wall of fire moving around the earth.

After a certain number of days, the air will be cleared, and the earth will be cleansed, and the dead buried.

The Lord Jesus Christ, with His saints, remain on the earth and He rules and reigns from Jerusalem in peace for one thousand years.

After that, Satan is loosed from his prison in hell for a little season, and goes about the earth again, and people flock to him, and they compass Jerusalem again, and fire comes down from heaven and devours them. This is the final rebellion.

There is a great white throne set out in heaven, and the wicked dead are resurrected and judged according to their works, and as many as were not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life were cast into lake of fire where the Beast and False Prophet are. This is the second death.

This earth is dissolved with a fervent heat and a great noise and all this creation and firmament is rolled up as a scroll, and no place is found for it.

High Drama.

And there shall be a new heaven and a new earth in the which righteousness shall dwell, and where all the righteous of this present earth shall dwell eternally. †
