Vengeance
is Mine;
I
Will Repay, Saith The Lord.
"Dearly
beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath:
for it
is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
(Romans: 12:19)
Enoch, Methuselah, and Noah prayed and the Flood came from God.
The works of Satan are destroyed, by the power of Almighty God
through
the life experiences of His victorious servants, when His servant
is obedient.
Lot prayed and the fire fell at sunrise, and Sodom and Gomorrah , and
the
five cities of the plain, were destroyed and buried in the Dead Sea by
the
power of Almighty God.
The pleasure is gone, for the season of the pleasure of sin is only
fleeting.
Elijah prayed, that it might not rain, and it rained not for a period of
three
years and six months with no dew either.
The Lord Jesus Christ prayed,
and Lazarus came forth from the grave,
alive, bound hand and foot with
grave clothes, and a napkin around his
head. And the Lord said, Loose
him, and let him go. "And
he that was
dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and
his face
was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him,
and
let him go."
(John 11:44)
"Jesus
saith unto him, I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father, but
by me.
"
(John 14:6)
The apostle John prayed in exile on the Isle of Patmos, and an open
revelation
of the last days was given to him by Almighty God, to be
delivered to the
churches by him, John the Revelator.
"And Jesus came and spake unto
them, saying, All power is given unto
me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and,
lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen."
(Matthew 28:18-20)
