My
People, My People, My People,
The Jew, The Gentile, The Church
“If my people,
which are called by name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my
face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear
from heaven, and
will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
(II . Chronicles 7:14)
“(For the weapons
of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty
through God
to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations,
and
every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And
having
in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience
is fulfilled.”
(II Corinthians 10: 4-6)
“For I delivered
unto you first of all that which I also received, how that
Christ died
for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was
buried, and that
he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was
seen of Cephas, (Peter) then of the twelve (apostles):
After that, he (The
Lord Jesus Christ) was seen of above five hundred
brethren at once; of
whom the greater part remain unto his present, but
some are fallen asleep.
After that, he was seen of James; then all of the
apostles. And last of
all he was seen of me (Paul) also, as of one born
out of due time.”
(I Corinthians 15: 3-8)
“That if thou
shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in theme
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession
is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith,
Whosoever believeth on
him shall not be ashamed. For there is no
difference between the Jew and
the Greek (Gentile): for the same Lord
over all is rich unto all that call
upon him. For whosoever shall call upon
the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
(Romans 10: 9-13)
“For I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God
unto salvation
to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek. For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it
is written, The just shall live by faith.”
(Romans 1: 16-17)
“But ye (believers)
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come
unto you: and ye
shall be witnesses unto me (The Lord Jesus Christ)
both in Jerusalem, and
in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the
uttermost part of the earth.
And when he had spoken these things, while
they (the apostles) beheld,
he was taken up; and a cloud received him
out of their sight. And while
the looked steadfastly toward heaven as he
went up, behold two men stood
by them in white apparel; Which also
said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand
ye gazing up into heaven? This same
Jesus, Which is taken up from you into
heaven, shall so come in like
manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
(Acts 1: 8-11)
“For the Lord
himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first: then
we which are alive and remain shall be caught
up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall
we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these
words. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye shall have no need
that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the
Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they (the world) shall
say,
Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as
travail upon
a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye,
brethren, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a
thief. Ye are all the
children of light, and the children of the day: we are
not of the night,
nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do
others; but let
us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the
night; and they that
be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us
(believers), who are of the
day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of
faith and love; and for an helmet,
the hope of salvation. For God hath not
appointed us to wrath (the Tribulation),
but to obtain salvation by our
Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us that, whether
we wake or sleep (die),
we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort
yourselves together,
and edify one another, even as also ye do.”
(I Thessalonians 4: 16-18, 5: 1-11)
It has been almost two
thousand years since The Lord Jesus Christ rose
from the dead and ascended
into heaven to be seated at the right hand
of The Father. We are earnestly
expecting The Son, the only begotten of
The Father, to return for his believers,
dead and alive, Jew and Gentile,
on this living generation. As it was in
the times of Noah, so shall it be
again on the earth at His return. “They
did eat, they drank, they married
wives, they were given in marriage, until
the day that Noe (Noah) entered
into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed
them all.”
(Luke 17:27)
As long as the Lord
tarries in heaven for the last sinner to be saved
before He descends for
His Blood – bought
Bride, the Church, composed
of believing Jews and Gentiles, there is still
time to receive Him by
repentance and faith.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you died for my sins; have ascended
into
heaven and will return for the just. Come into my heart and save my
soul
and grant me Thy eternal life, The Holy Ghost and the love of The
Father.
In Thy name, I pray,
